  • Supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault
  • Promoting healthy attitudes, relationships, lives for our community
  • Supporting and assisting prevention programs within the community

The Organized Village of Kake Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Program began in 2011 when the Office on Violence Against Women approved our application for funding under the Grants to Indian Tribal Governments Program.  The award provides us the opportunity for recipients to develop and strengthen effective responses to violence against women.

It is important to know that the Organized Village of Kake Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Program is able to provide assistance to tribal citizens and non-tribal citizens alike.  Types of assistance available:
  • Providing emergency shelter.
  • Support client by going to medical visits, court hearings with them, upon clients request
  • Provide emergency kits for clients that include hygiene items, clothing.

Please come and see us and hear other types of aid available, made possible through an Office on Violence Against Women Grant.
